Mercedes-Benz pushes ahead with development of China sales structure
By pooling all sales activities for imported and locally produced passenger cars under the umbrella of Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co. Ltd. (BMBS), Daimler has established the structural set-up for the optimization of sales operations in China, thus paving the way for sustainable growth.
Company History
Overall, 2012 was a strong year for Daimler marked by many successes, albeit also with identifiable scope for improvement. Both the Group and Mercedes-Benz Cars achieved new records in unit sales and revenues, and new products were brought on the market in all business divisions.

Double triumph for Daimler: "Goldener Öltropfen 2013" goes to Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and commercial vehicles
For the first time ever, a company has won the "Goldener Öltropfen" award for two developments: Daimler AG triumphed in the passenger cars segment with its NANOSLIDE® technology, while in the commercial vehicles segment the award went to the new Mercedes-Benz Citaro Euro VI with recuperation module.
