Managing Sustainability
In realizing our sustainability objectives, we are supported by effective management systems. These have already been established for several years, for example in corporate environmental protection and in the human resources and legal & compliance sectors. The management systems set out to appoint clearly identifiable responsible parties, to systematically evaluate success, and to implement improvements. In 2008 we further reinforced our sustainability management with the establishment of a Sustainability Board at Board of Management level. With the involvement of the various departments and operative units, management processes relevant to sustainability are grouped together and company-wide measures initiated. more
