We are convinced that sustainable emission-free mobility is attainable not through renouncement, but through innovation. We are therefore working toward improving the environmental compatibility of our vehicles throughout their life cycle. A major point of emphasis is reducing CO2 emissions. We are also concentrating on raising levels of comfort and safety even further.

With the “Road to Emission-free Mobility“ Daimler has defined three crucial areas of technological innovation: further optimization of the internal combustion engine, increased efficiency through hybridization, and the development of fuel cell and battery vehicles. more
