Substitution as Issuer:
Daimler Finance North America LLC (DFNA) replaced Dairnler North Arnerica Corporation as issuer of the Notes. The substitution date is April 02, 2009. DFNA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DNAC and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Dairnler AG. All bonds concerned, addresses of eth comapnies and more information was published in the official statement (pdf-file, 72 kB). Thus, DFNA becomes issuer and obligor in respect of the obligations arising from the bonds. Daimler AG continues to guarantee interest and redemption for these bonds. Therefore, the credit risk has not changed for the bond holders.
