Dr.-Ing. h. c. Hans Nibel

Hans Nibel was hired on at Benz & Cie. in 1904 as an engineer, and within four years was already promoted to chief design engineer.
From 1911, he managed the design office and was a fully authorised officer. In 1917, he was appointed to the Board of Management. In 1928, he took over the management of the design office of Daimler-Benz AG as successor to Ferdinand Porsche.
Karlsruhe Technical University awarded him an honorary doctorate in engineering in 1922. |
