Mercedes-Benz do Brazil is the largest manufacturer of trucks and buses in Latin America and the largest plant outside Germany. The company started its activities in the country in 1956, when it began the production at the factory in Sao Bernardo do Campo. Now it is close to reach the milestone of 2 million commercial vehicles produced.

For 20 years, the Company inaugurated, in its plant of São Bernardo do Campo, the biggest Technological Development Center for commercial vehicles sector in the country, being the largest unit outside Germany for Mercedes-Benz’s trucks and buses.
