Communicating mobility concepts and technologies through fun
Sensitizing a young target group to things such as mobility concepts, innovative technologies and renewable energies is a challenge for companies. The social browser game GreenSight City intends to awaken the enthusiasm of young people for these topics.

The game was developed by Daimler in collaboration with Zone 2 Connect GmbH. From December 15, the city construction simulator will be available on Facebook. Players have to complete various tasks and missions in order to turn a small town into a flourishing “green” metropolis to attract as many tourists as possible.
As in real life, the volume of traffic increases as the town grows and the number of tourists rises. Players have to meet these transport requirements using various mobility concepts, such as car-sharing and ebikes. The infrastructure must be built up gradually to fulfill the needs of the increasing flows of tourists. At the same time, players must ensure that the attractiveness of their town is not impaired by pollution.
Between now and November 18, a draw will be held to allocate exclusive test accounts for the game among all subscribers to the GreenSight City newsletter. The winners will get to “test-drive” the game in the run-up to its official launch and participate in its development. Everyone who subscribes to the newsletter will be entered into the draw automatically.
From November 7 to December 9, you can submit your pencil sketches of the buildings or cars of the future via the GreenSight City Facebook page and vote on other people’s drawings. The three sketches that receive the most positive ratings will be integrated into the game.
