Guidelines
Several guidelines, principles and codes were issued at the company:
Integrity Code
The Integrity Code is a guideline that has been in effect since 1999. It defines binding limits to the activities of all employees worldwide, and is regularly referred to. Among other things, it contains rules of conduct concerning international transactions, conflicts of interest, the issue of equality, the role of internal monitoring systems, the right to the fulfillment of statutory standards, as well as other internal and external regulations.
Code of Ethics
As a listed in the US Companies, according to the Sarbanes Oxley Act the company adopted a code of ethics, which is applicable to Board members and other senior officers.
Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility
The company acknowledges its social responsibility and commits itself to the nine principles of the United Nations Global Compact initiative. Accordingly, the company`s corporate management and the World Employee Committee of the company have reached an agreement on principles of corporate social responsibility that are valid worldwide.
The Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility have been integrated in the Integrity Code.
