The Integrity Code has been in effect since November 1, 2012. It defines the principles of behavior and guidelines for everyday conduct within the company that are applicable at Daimler. Fairness, responsibility and compliance with legislation are key principles in this context. The Integrity Code is based on values shared by employees and the company. Additional regulations governing certain circumstances apply throughout the company and to specific business units, departments and facilities.
Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility
The company acknowledges its social responsibility and commits itself to the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact initiative. Accordingly, the company`s corporate management and the World Employee Committee of the company have reached an agreement on principles of corporate social responsibility that are valid worldwide. The Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility have been integrated in the Integrity Code.
