Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class
One of the most modern production facilities of the global automotive industry - this description marked the start of the Rastatt plant's success story in 1992. Today, Daimler is the region's biggest employer. The Rastatt plant has been producing the Mercedes-Benz A-Class since 1997. In addition, it manufactures the Mercedes-Benz B-Class, which has been available on the market since June 2005. In 2008, the plant celebrated a production milestone. In the eleventh year since the launch of the A-Class, the Rastatt plant produced its two millionth Mercedes-Benz A/B-Class vehicle.
