This encompasses product information relating to passenger cars, commercial vehicles, purpose-built vehicles, buses and coaches, marine engines, aeroengines and industrial engines. The archived material includes brochures, price lists, owner's manuals and operating instructions, replacement part catalogues, workshop literature, technical drawings, documentation material and test reports.
A unique feature is the virtually complete stock of order books and production records, vehicle and data cards - i.e. the birth certificates - of all Mercedes and Mercedes-Benz passen-ger cars ever built in Untertürkheim and Sindelfingen. The corresponding documents for cars produced in Mannheim are unfortunately no longer available. | ||||||
