Archive Library
The Corporate Archives' library is independent of the plants' libraries and currently contains some 7,700 books matched to the archived material. Focal subjects are automotive, engineering and motor sport history, motor vehicle engineering and industrial history. As many as 800 books on the corporation's history and the products of DaimlerChrysler AG and its originating companies are available. The library is extended by the addition of some 200 new books every year.
A treasure of a very special kind is the virtually complete collection of all the years' issues of "Allgemeine Automobilzeitung" (AAZ) and another 450 magazines, 150 of these being sub-scriptions. A major focus is the extensive collection of in-house magazines which are published by the Group, its plants and divisions for staff and customers | ||||||||
