Daimler Group Services Berlin GmbH
Along with Stuttgart and Wörth, Daimler Group Services Berlin is one of the three Shared Service Centers (SSC) for accounting functions for Daimler AG’s German plants.
A Shared Service Center enables bundling of decentralized performed administrative tasks with high potential for standardization in a single responsibility area at one location. The objective of the SSC organization in the accounting function is to bundle competencies, improve the cost position and thereby increase the competitiveness of this corporate function.
Daimler Group Services Berlin is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing invoices for Daimler AG. Incoming invoices are handled in a paperless process in the system SAP R/3 Automotive Standard with extensive interfaces to upstream and downstream systems.
