The Board of Management is responsible for managing DaimlerChrysler and controls the Group’s business activities jointly in accordance with the principle of collegiality. It is responsible for the operational and strategic management of the company. DaimlerChrysler informs shareholders, financial analysts, shareholder associations, the media and the interested public regularly (or, when necessary, in addition to its regular reporting) and simultaneously about the Group’s situation and significant changes in its business activities.
