The consumption of resources, and emissions, are dependent on production volumes. Specific values are therefore calculated for the individual divisions. For this purpose, the unit production figures for the vehicles produced at a particular division are used to calculate the appropriate data for the production plants.According to the new organization of the divisions within the commercial vehicles section, we recalculated the specific values for trucks, vans and buses separately. In order to get consistent time series we did this back in time as far as possible.The specific data acquired by these means can only be seen as a rough guide, since they do not take into account the differing development of vertical integration, the diversity of products or the special characteristics of the coordinated production system, which in some cases spans over several business units.
