Our Goals to Sustainability
If the principle of sustainability is to become a practical guideline in everyday operations, it must be strategically secured and assigned to key indicators. DaimlerChrysler has therefore defined measures and targets with which its achievements in sustainability can be evaluated and verified.

In 2006, DaimlerChrysler further reduced the number of deviations from the codex’ recommendations from three to two. The reasons why the company continues to deviate in two points are listed in detail in the Annual Report p.126 ff. |

Sustainability ratings and rankings
|
DaimlerChrysler has further improved its sustainability reporting and intensified its dialogue with analysts. In 2006, DaimlerChrysler was once again included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index as well as in other ratings and rankings.
