Share Buyback
The Annual Meeting of shareholders of Daimler AG resolved on April 8, 2009:
The Company is authorized to acquire its own shares until October 8, 2010, in accordance with the conditions set forth in items 6 and 7 of the agenda of the Annual Meeting of shareholders of Daimler AG, which was published in the electronic Federal Gazette (elektronischer Bundesanzeiger) on February 27, 2009. Shares bought back under the conditions of theses resolutions can also be deleted.
The authorization was resolved purely for reserve purposes. For the time being, the company has no intention to resume the share buyback program that was suspended on October 24, 2008.
