Things are changing at all of the company’s units. Future challenges will require us to strike out in new directions — and that applies to our daily work as well. That’s why Daimler has launched the Mobile Working program in order to open up new opportunities in this regard. The company agreement of December 1, 2016, has paved the way for a new concept that combines the employees’ wishes with the company’s requirements.
Mobile working focuses on reconciling the needs of employees’ professional and private lives as well as on boosting flexibility and reducing commute times. The program aims to boost productivity and reduce stress at work. Not only does that benefit the employees, it also makes the company fit for the future.
Our regulation for mobile working at Daimler fulfills our employees’ wish for more freedom to work more flexibly and independently. We want to actively support mobile working so that we can also change the work and management culture at Daimler.
The new rules for mobile working take us a big step forward toward more trust and self-determination. As a result, employees can now better reconcile their private and professional lives.
