March 26, 2020 is Girls‘ Day, part of a nationwide initiative.
This event enables girls to discover their talent for technical occupations, to nurture their interest in these fields and to develop a passion for the motor vehicle mechatronics technician.
The main appeal of Girls' Day is that it offers young women the chance to discover technology and to gain hands-on experience of different technical occupations. The girls can broaden their understanding of technology and engineering in the training workshop and in the development units and various other departments in the factory. They're also given the chance to speak directly with apprentices and trainers and to ask them lots of questions to gain a clearer impression of what a technical job at Daimler entails.
