Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg S.A. is the oldest foreign representation of the Daimler AG still in existence. Its history can be traced back to 1906 when the Luxembourger Jean Wagner took over the general representation of Benz & Cie. in the Grand-Duchy. With the founding of Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg S.A. in 1997 the majority shareholding passed to the Daimler AG. Today the company employs more than 600 people at six service- and sales-locations for cars and commercial vehicles and is, amongst other things, Luxembourg’s largest training company for the automotive industry.
