With our global growth strategy "Mercedes-Benz Vans goes global" we will respond to the needs of our worldwide customers even more readily and systematically in future: Mercedes-Benz Vans already has a truly global vehicle in its portfolio with the Sprinter – our large van is marketed in more than 130 countries, and on every continent it demonstrates that it is a van of the world. It is produced and marketed in Russia as the Sprinter Classic. We are systematically following this strategy with the market launch of the Vito in Latin America and North America – where it is called the Metris. Our aim is to consolidate the technological leadership of Mercedes-Benz Vans even further, expand existing activities and open up new growth potentials beyond the European core markets.
