Bader M. Al Saad was born on January 4, 1958 in Kuwait. He is a graduate of Kuwait University with a major in Accounting.
Bader M. Al Saad is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) since 2003. He was the former Managing Director of the KIA from December 2003 until April 2017.
Mr. Al Saad has extensive experience in investments and financial sector for the past 35 years. Mr. Al Saad was also the CEO of one of the leading investment company in Kuwait, The Kuwait Financial Center (“Markaz”). He also has extensive experience in various positions at the Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East (currently Al Ahli United Bank).
Mr. Al Saad served in different Boards of Directors, both domestic and international companies, and was a member of various professional organizations and committees, as well as was a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (“KPC”).
