Making the logistics of the future more intelligent and improving the experience of driver and passenger in a commercial vehicle. That was the goal of the nine teams of students who took part in a programming marathon on 26 and 27 September at the IAA in Hanover with the aim of working on ideas connected to the subjects of "Smart Logistics" and "User Experience@Commercial Vehicles". They got their kick from the so-called hackathon high: the special feeling of inventing something new in a short time. In the end, the tired-out participants presented nine prototypes to the panel of judges. The "RoadBot" team was triumphant in the final pitch with the ChatBot, a text-based interactive system designed to quickly and efficiently answer customer inquiries in the field of transport logistics.
