A company with many employees, such as Daimler, is always a “social and vibrant network,” among other things. All corporate knowledge and expertise is just one click away, communication and cooperation are therefore essential elements. Our purpose: Connecting employees sustainably.
The #collaborate team changes and reinforces the connected cooperation of employees from all regions, units, and levels with the help of digital technology in order to increase their agility and innovative power. For this purpose, we are investing in technology, developing an Enterprise Social Network together with our colleagues in Corporate Communications and IT, and implementing it all over the world. We are also investing in mindset and connectivity skills, target group-oriented with a wide variety of enabling and training formats, independently of tools.
Through Working Out Loud, work is becoming visible and people are learning to create networks in a targeted way. Our international network of multipliers called “netWork” supports our employees at all of our locations, Community Management increases effectiveness in virtual work spaces, and through our Reverse Mentoring program we promote the cross-generational sharing and enhancement of digital skills.
The commitment of #collaborate to making work visible, helping people to learn from one another, and growing together in new dimensions has been honored with the HR Excellence Award within the Working Out Loud Community of Practice.
