The participants of the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events learn from certified instructors how to confidently master challenging driving situations – on the road and off the road. For more safety and more driving fun.
The versatile assistance systems from Mercedes-Benz make motoring ever safer and more comfortable. Nonetheless, the driver and his personal driving skills (for the time being) remain a crucial factor when it comes to safety on the road.
That is the reason why Daimler AG has been offering driver safety training courses since the early '70s, which today are open to all interested motorists and can be booked. The range comprises a wide variety of training formats – for all skill levels, on-road and off-road, in winter as in summer.
The absolute highlights in winter are the adrenalin-charged training courses near the Arctic Circle on a frozen lake in Lapland. In the Austrian town of Saalfelden, the participants train at a driver safety centre next to the hotel and on kilometres of ice tracks in front of a spectacular mountain panorama. Off-road enthusiasts find a challenging training ground in a quarry in Kitzbühel.
The driving courses in summer are held at various locations in Germany: on famous racetracks, at state-of-the-art driving safety centres or on specially prepared off-road courses.
The training takes place in the latest passenger cars from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG – many fully loaded and always provided by the organiser. A lot of driving fun is a given.
