Integrity at a glance

Only ethical business practices can lead to sustainable success.

They are based on acting in conformity with laws, regulations and internal policies. However, integrity as an inner attitude extends beyond this. It is intended to become a part of a corporate culture, based on shared values, which satisfies demanding ethical standards.

As first automotive manufacturer, Daimler established a Board of Management division for “Integrity and Legal Affairs” in 2011. The various initiatives of the division help to firmly anchor a culture of integrity in the company.

The Board of Management division includes:

  • Legal Affairs
  • the Compliance organization
  • Corporate Data Protection
  • Integrity Management
  • Corporate Responsibility Management

We expect ethical conduct not only of our employees and managers but also of our business partners and suppliers. We engage in ongoing dialog with all these groups.
