The Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen Plant is steeped in tradition more so than any other Daimler plant, and is the center of competence for executive and luxury passenger cars in the global production network of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
The plant has more than 25,000 employees. Mercedes-Benz produces the E-Class (Sedan and Wagon), the CLS and the CLS Shooting Brake, the S-Class (Sedan, Coupe and Cabriolet), the Mercedes-Maybach as well as the Mercedes-AMG GT there (fuel consumption combined (gasoline) 9.3 l/100 km, combined CO₂ emissions: 216 g/km*). Some 200 vehicles are delivered to customers at the Sindelfingen Mercedes-Benz Customer Center every day. In the future, the plant will also produce electric vehicles of the new product brand, EQ.
