Helping children in need: Mercedes-Benz is selling 1,000 limited-edition Bobby Benz cars in support of children in need – and has made a few kids' eyes sparkle already.
Mercedes-Benz, together with model and brand ambassador Franziska Knuppe, presented 16 of the exclusive miniature vehicles to children at Tabea, a drop-in centre for the bereaved – bringing big smiles to everyone's faces. Tabea is one of the organisations on which the Tribute to Bambi foundation is focusing its support this year. Based in Berlin, the association supports children who lose a person close to them, and it also campaigns on behalf of bereaved families.
Mercedes-Benz is strongly committed to supporting children in need and has a long tradition of engagement in this area. Ever since the charity event 'Tribute to Bambi– helping children in need' was founded in 2001, Mercedes-Benz has been an active contributor. Together with celebrity sponsors it has donated vehicles, collected money, provided practical help and realised dreams.
As part of this commitment, this year Mercedes-Benz is selling a limited special edition of the Bobby Benz - the exclusive 'Racing Edition'. The entire proceeds will go to the Tribute to Bambi foundation.
