"Daimler has been supporting the Jerusalem Foundation for many years now because it makes an important contribution to the peaceful coexistence of all people in Jerusalem," Karl-Heinz Schlaiss, External Relations at Daimler.
A benefit gala was held at the "Neues Schloss" in Stuttgart in the fall of 2015 to mark 50 years of German-Israeli diplomatic relations and 40 years of the Jerusalem Foundation Deutschland e.V. organization. Daimler donated a smart for2 to the gala.
The proceeds from the gala went to three joint Jewish-Arab projects in Jerusalem.

- The bilingual, Jewish-Arab Max Rayne Hand-in-Hand School
- Scientific education programs for Jewish and Arabic children at the Bloomfield Science Museum.
