Jerusalem aid: Double anniversary year 2015

"Daimler has been supporting the Jerusalem Foundation for many years now because it makes an important contribution to the peaceful coexistence of all people in Jerusalem," Karl-Heinz Schlaiss, External Relations at Daimler.

A benefit gala was held at the "Neues Schloss" in Stuttgart in the fall of 2015 to mark 50 years of German-Israeli diplomatic relations and 40 years of the Jerusalem Foundation Deutschland e.V. organization. Daimler donated a smart for2 to the gala.

The proceeds from the gala went to three joint Jewish-Arab projects in Jerusalem.

  • The Hattie Friedland Koexistenz school for people with multiple disabilities
  • The bilingual, Jewish-Arab Max Rayne Hand-in-Hand School
  • Scientific education programs for Jewish and Arabic children at the Bloomfield Science Museum.
